Block Theme

A modern theme built entirely from blocks and configured via theme.json.

A block theme uses the Site Editor (Full Site Editing) as its primary customisation surface. Templates and template parts are stored as blocks in HTML files instead of PHP. This approach removes a lot of boilerplate and gives editors more consistent control across the whole site.
